Omg, Omg, Omg. RunDisney nerds out there, take a look at this…
Women-focused event to offer 10K, new challenge and specialedition medals fit for a Princess; Special Princess and Tinker Bell half marathon registration available June 11.. plus new 10k challenge for Princess Half Marathon Weekend!
As you may know- I did the Tinker Bell and the Princess this year to earn my coast to coast medal- so this is doubly exciting…. not only is runDisney launching a new special pink Coast to Coast medal for people that do the Tinker Bell Half at Disneyland and the Princess Half at Disney World.
In 2014 runDisney will be adding a special 10k for the Princess Half Marathon Weekend- the “Disney Glass Slipper Challenge” for participants who run the 19.3 miles for a 10k & half marathon!
Will you be participating in the Coast to Coast Challenge to snag the special Coast to Coast Medal for 2014, or will you opt for the new Glass Slipper Challenge at the Princess Half Marathon weekend?
How awesome is that medal!! 🙂

Agreed..and I cannot wait to see the extra challenge medals this year!
never heard of the race before, but im a huge running fan, so id love to do it! <3
You SO need to do it. Totally an experience, not just a race!
Must. Have. I already have the blue Coast to Coast, but I think it’s time to add this one to my collection!
Agreed, more bling, more fun!
I totally run for bling! Are you doing this one next year?? I know you did the Princess and Tink but would you do it again?
I want to. I need to do Disney World again, I couldn’t get it all done in one trip! I really really want to do the Wine n Dine this year, but I’m also doing the Disneyland Half so we will see!
That look s like a unique and fun kind of race. My children would probably love to participate in that.
KC- it’s a great way to get the family involved…they can do the parks then get up early to cheer you on. I think they’ll still be doing the kids races this year as well the day before the half. 🙂
I have been wanting to do runDisney for years! I do local races but haven’t made it out to the parks for race weekends yet. I keep seeing it around and may have to change that
Diana- yes, if you can do one, do it!! Make a trip of it and it’s a great experience for you and your supporters whether they’re able to attend or not. I know my family couldn’t be there, but seeing their texts and tweets during/after the race was awesome, it really was a blast!
