I love fall. It’s the season where you need to bundle up and snuggle, but it’s not winter-cold just yet. A time where you can start layering things on- thick sweaters, comfy scarves and leggings tucked in knee-high boots nestled in with cozy socks.
I really, really love fall. Comfy clothes and lush colors, paired with neutrals for effortless fall style that’s still really snuggly. Yup, it’s time to #BringComfyBack and so I’ve picked my absolute faves for the fall season that will help you stay warm, cozy and mainly- comfy, while still feeling on-trend.
Tribal Flowy Cardigan / Timberland Riding Boot / Faux Leather Trimmed Sheath Dress / Brass Statement Necklace / Blanket Scarf / Stretch Twill Pants / Flannel Button Up / Marc Jacobs Metallic Wine Wallet
I have just about all of these pieces- and they’re quality enough to last year after year. I’ve had similar Timberland boots for over 4 years and I’m finally wearing through the heel- and they were my only pair of non-snow boots for years! The stretch twill pants are a new addition this year that feel like leggings without worrying about coverage or sheer issues that could be a problem at work!
I have a similar sheath dress from Banana Republic, but in black, and it’s so super comfortable that if paired with leggings and a statement necklace, it can easily go from work to a night out. I had mine tailored to fit like a glove and it was worth every penny, I’ve gotten a ton of use out of it since I invested in it last year, these dresses are the best! Yes, it was more expensive, but you can snag a coupon code or a sale, and with a bit of tailoring you have timeless styles, making your cost per wear incredibly affordable, plus- the fabric is durable!
If I had any recommendations for your fall wardrobe- I would say, when it comes to comfy, don’t do frumpy (you know, worn out old sheepskin boots and leggings) but instead opt for classic styles that help you feel confident while still feeling like you’re in your pajamas…without actually looking like you’re in your pajamas.
For dressy, opt for shift dresses in a stretchy, thick fabric (like above) that will fit your form without clinging. For casual outfits, you can pair a tunic or flannel top with a stretchy twill which provides more coverage and clean lines. Honestly, I like to be casual, but I also like to feel confident- and as a curvy girl, I’ve had my share of not-so-great fall looks.
At this point, I want my stretchy pants, but to not look like I’m in stretchy pants 😉 If you’re in stretchy pants for other reasons, you can also stay comfy on your period with (super cute) U by Kotex® liners!

Stretchy pants that don’t look like stretchy pants are the best <3 lol yay for fall!
Exactly!
Fall is my favorite time for fashion! I could live in leggings and tunics. I get what you mean about being a curvy girl though, sometimes I really struggle to find shift dresses and tunics that don’t look skin tight over my hips!
Yes, it can be a pain- that’s why I had mine tailored. Worth it!
I’ve been loving your fall posts. My favorite from this list are the Timberland riding boots and the tribal cardigan.
I’m glad you’re enjoying them!
I love wearing dresses or tunics with leggings. It’s my favorite way to feel fabulous and ready for fall. For some reason I always feel like I’m ready to conquer the world when I wear a dress.
Yes! Dresses definitely have a way of doing that.
It’s amazing in favor of me to have a web site,
which is beneficial designed for my experience. thanks admin
