Last year, I got to review Elizabeth & Clarke on the blog and fell in love. Now that their fall line has come out, I’m even more in love with their collection. Elizabeth & Clarke is a subscription box of really awesome shirts for women- I know that’s a horrible understatement to what they offer, but honestly- it sums it up well. Really. Awesome. Shirts.
If you’re like me, I have dressy shirts and really ugly casual shirts (like from the gazillion 5ks and 10ks I’ve done) but often, I struggle in finding shirts that could be work appropriate and also nice enough for a date night without feeling stuffy or making me look overdressed. Having a stash of versatile shirts that work for work, play, day or night is so important and yet- every time I cruise Target, I seem to find one that’s either too dressy, too trendy or frankly, too casual. Like most of us- we want classics in our wardrobe that fit a variety of uses so we don’t have that “What the heck am I going to wear?” moment when we stare at a closet full of clothes.

I always love opening up my gorgeous grey box from Elizabeth & Clarke since I know the fabrics are always much better in person. They have gorgeous photos on the website, but honestly, they’re better in your hands- so soft!
Hands down, my favorite shirt has been the Taylor (middle). It’s a bit tight on the bottom, but if you wear it open to reveal a pop of color underneath, it’s fabulous. I love rolling the sleeves up and it’s comfortable simultaneously! I wore it for my presentation at the Financial Blogger Conference this year…and about a zillion other things 😉
