{My recent impromptu trip to Disneyland with my long time friend Chris from October got me thinking of all the time I’ve spent trying to explain myself to people when instead I would be much happier being unapologetically *me* – my fears, my hopes, my goals- they’re who I am and I’ve made peace with who I am. Being my frugal-self means I can spend my money on what matters and hopefully, it’ll give me more time to spend it with the people that matter.}
P.S. Thanks Chris for a surprise early Christmas present!
Shannyn, I love this post. It's so true. We should just relax and enjoy what we do. Why explain? I also find that when I prioritize my spending I can do more of the things I enjoy. Why spend a lot of money on things that have little meaning to us? Keep on living your life!
By the way, you seem to have no competition to win the book giveaway!
It's so true, what a great post. you also seen to have a great friend too!
You look so happy.
Awesome post! Made me smile and feel good about all the impromtu things that I've done and spent some money on. Sometimes I regret, sometimes I don't. Loved your pictures. You look happy and obviously you had a blast. 🙂
Thank you, you have no idea how much I needed to read that today =)
