It amazes me that such little things: lip gloss, mascara, nail polish- to make such BIG change. My business has been able to generate over 50 care packs for our troops serving overseas with the Soldiers’ Angels Network, donate hundreds of lipsticks for women undergoing cancer treatment, raised thousands of dollars for charities such as Straight from the Heart, & Dogs 4 Diabetics
It’s amazing to me that beauty products can make life for foster families, parents of diabetic children & scholarships possible for thousands of people. One small business, lots of lipgloss, and plenty of heart.
In July of 2011 through my Mary Kay sales, we were able to donate $554.82 in memory of my friend Kassie who passed away last year. I felt so blessed to be able to use my small business to support mentoring, scholarship and community programs for other young women in her name!
