My Ireland Box is a subscription service which takes the best Ireland has to offer in jewelry, paper goods, crafts and decor to the rest of us who haven’t been able to visit lately. Each month, items are carefully curated from local artisans, craftspeople, and small business owners to create quite a box of Irish goods.
A genuine beeswax candle that’s guaranteed Irish!
I absolutely love this candle- it has a burn time of about 6+ hours and just looks really cool. On the back, it even has a “guaranteed Irish” sticker- which I totally appreciate. Sometimes, you have to wonder where things actually come from when you’re playing tourist, and it’s totally disheartening as a shopper to try and support local businesses when you shop with or visit a new country, only to find that their “local goods” for tourists and travelers is manufactured in some far-off factory.
Everything in My Ireland Box is made by hand and usually has an address, sticker or watermark to prove it is actually handmade in Ireland. This candle is almost too cute to burn, but I think I have a wine bottle this could adorn!

This box retails for around $40 USD and ships fast directly from Ireland! I absolutely loved it not only for the fact that I got such great items that are actually FROM Ireland and handmade from Irish folks, but the items were really fun and it was great to be exposed to something new from a country I’ve always wanted to visit.
This is one subscription box I’d love to see grow and develop even more since I’m sure it will be a great resource for artisans and craftspeople to get more exposure and fans from all over the globe. I usually get overwhelmed with Etsy so this is the perfect way to get the Etsy vibe without losing hours to browsing!
Thanks for this review. I’ve heard about this a lot, but wondered what it was actually like, as “crafts from Ireland” is a pretty generic label!

We are so delighted that you liked all of the Irish made treasured that we included. We were inspired by the Irish hedgerows that currently look like they are on fire as they are lush with fuchsia and other gorgeous flowers! We chose the bracelet as it reminded us of fuchsia and the beeswax candle as it is so natural and reminds us of the bees that buzz from fuchsia to buttercup along the Irish countryside. We chose the Olyart card as every time you look behind an Irish hedgerow you see a cow!
