So, the audio in this clip drives me bonkers (or you know, makes me want to cry..whatevs!)  It’s happened a couple of times where the recording on my MacBook pro doesn’t quite match up with the audio and in the past I’ve caught it and re-recorded.  Well, this time I didn’t catch it in time (it seems to line up in the beginning and end, not in the middle, wth.)

I enlisted the help of a friend over the weekend to fix it but to no avail- so I’d suggest you just close your eyes and let the soothing voice of your favorite frugal vlogger take you away to a peaceful place with this video review.  You can imagine me in crazy outfits or maybe doing this review while perched atop a stallion- whatever works for you.

As a frugality blogger, I often am moved to ask-  ”WHY SO SERIOUS?”  when people take their couponing to the extreme and execute their money saving tactics with military precision…which I like to a point but not when it totally is un-fun.

So, how’d it go?  After using the Crest 2 Hour Express Whitestrips I did notice a difference.  I enjoyed that the strips were thin enough to be worn discreetly (I ran errands during the 2 hours) and didn’t taste too bad.

I did notice that my teeth were whiter (though I’m not sure if the picture shows the difference) and would be interested to try the other two treatments to really see what they can do!  If you’re in a hurry to whiten your teeth and don’t have a lot of time, this is a great option.  I would advise if you have sensitive teeth, you do not use these- since I noticed my teeth were very, very sensitive after the first treatment last night and are still sensitive the day after.  (If you want white teeth and have above average sensitivity, I would recommend the longer treatments and space them out over a longer period (take two weeks instead of one) to decrease discomfort.)

For all you normal folks though with non-sensitive teeth, it’s easy to use, not messy and doesn’t hold you up if you have places to go!

AHHHHH! Look it’s my teeth all up in yo’ face!  Ha!

If you don’t know me, I should probably disclose that I love red lipstick.  In fact, my signature shade is Apple Berry by Mary Kay (it would look so hot on you by the way!)

The only problem with red lipstick is that you need sparkly white teeth to match.   Red shades have a tendency to make your teeth look more yellow than normal in addition to getting your smile way more attention!  Plus, I drink a lot of coffee and tea.   I’m a girl who is busy, up early and will *not* give up my caffeinated beverages so white strips are my favorite option!

 

That being said, I was totally excited when Crest sent me their 2 Hour Express Whitestrips to try.  I’ve used different brands previously, and while they’ve worked fine and I’ve talked about them in previous posts, normal whitestrips usually take 7 days or more to see results.

Most often in the hustle and bustle of preparing for a big event, having sparkly teeth is the last thing we think of- so this might be a great option if you’re in a big hurry to see results before a reunion, business event or hot date!

Costume shopping can be SO frustrating!  Crowded stores, high prices, too much to choose from in too little time- I have always had the worst luck with costume shopping.  Initially I was hesitant to find a costume online, worried that I’d get the wrong size or it wouldn’t arrive in time.  I then remembered my previous shopping experiences with crowded stores, high markups, and I remembered the fact that in store you can’t try on costumes either- you get to look at a bag that you can’t open and hope it fits.
