Inexpensive Recipes for a Fantastic Friendsgiving

November 1, 2018

Family is great, but celebrations with friends are a blast. Check out our inexpensive Friendsgiving recipes to make your get-together extra special.

In between family dinners, out-of town visits, and mundane conversations with cousins you haven’t seen since last year’s turkey roast, the holidays are all about hanging with your bloodline. Although you may love them to pieces, it’s much easier to keep sane when you spend some QT with your non-relative gang.

A Friendsgiving celebration is the perfect excuse to drink a little too much wine and enjoy the company you are so thankful to have found. To make your Friendsgiving memorable, assign each guest an appetizer, side dish or dessert to bring, pot-lock style.

Since these months of steep flight prices and excessive gift shopping will leave you with a full heart, and an empty wallet, this collection of Friendsgiving recipes will not only impress your friends, but take a limited amount of time and ingredients to ensure your expenses don’t leave you with nothing but canned cranberries. Less time (and money) spent in the kitchen equals more time to play classy free game of “Pass the Nut” with your squad. Seriously.

Do you have any favorite Friendsgiving Recipes? What’s the food you’re looking forward to the most? I’m all about the side dishes. I love my mom’s pumpkin bread and could live off of my grandma’s mashed potatoes.

These rolls look fab. I love making my own bread and I use my bread maker to do all the mixing/proving and then cook the final loaf or rolls in the oven. These rolls would be perfect to turn into knot rolls. I’m definitely going to have a go at your recipe. Thank you. Sammie.simple dinner recipes
