Mary Kay Fun In The Sun Giveaway

Mary Kay makes the best sun protection!  As I’ve been marathon training, one sunscreen does not do all that I need.  Sunburns are bad enough, but chapped lips and breakouts the next day are no fun either- this is why I use Mary Kay:  you can have sun protection tailored for lips, face and body without suffering through clogged pores or sunburned and chapped lips.

It’s important to make sure you’re completely covered when you’re outside- so that’s why I’m thrilled to be offering such a fabulous prize pack to one lucky reader- whether you’re marathon training or simply out for a fun day at the park, Mary Kay has you covered with need-specific and high quality sun protection!

I need sun protection as I age I really didnt know when I was younger how bad the sun can be to your skin now that Im older I try to be safer in the sun. The worst sunburn I had was when I was 15 I feel asleep while sunbathing and my whole body was burnt I was in so much pain for days my Mom had to keep putting cool wet towels on my skin every 5 minutes

  2. Ally says:

I am always looking for a good sunscreen for my face. The ones I have used have all been too oily. I would love to give this one a try!

  3. Salome Donenfeld says:

Great Giveaway! Products look great, and I can’t ever leave the house without sunscreen!

  4. Erin says:

I need suncare products for when I run and for when I take my kiddos outside to recess at school. It seems like all year long I have a sunglasses tan thanks to those 20 minutes outside every day!

  5. Michelle P says:

I need sun protection because I have very fair skin and I break out easily.

Nice giveaway – I enjoy Mary Kay products!

  8. Kristin says:

Why do I need sunscreen? To help prevent skin cancer! I’m fairly pale and have had my share of nasty sunburns. Plus, my acne facewash make my skin extra sensitive. I’ve been trying to find a great non-greasy sunscreen, but I haven’t found “The One” yet.

  9. lindsay says:

My family has a history of skin cancer, so I’m careful about that.

  10. Rachael says:

I use sunscreen as it would be crazy not too!

  11. Allison says:

For an Italian, I have very pale skin – if I’m outside for more than half an hour in strong summer sun, I start burning. On lake vacations, I have to apply SPF 50 or above twice a day, or I burn. I don’t tan, I just burn! Not only do a look ridiculous and it hurts, but I obviously don’t want to develop skin cancer either!

  12. Aina Y says:

We ALL need sunscreen, whether we’re dark or light! I ALWAYS apply sunscreen, i try to during the winter as well. My worst sunburn would probably be when I went to Mexico. wow their sun is harsh!

  13. Susan T. says:

I am super pale so I need sunscreen everyday. I fell asleep on a beach once and burned my back super badly. It was not pretty! At least it was only 1 side lol!

  14. Jill C. says:

I value my fair(ish) skin, and want to keep it healthy! I also like a lot of Mary Kay products 🙂

  15. Amanda says:

I’ve been needing some sunscreen for my face because just using regular coppertone on my face makes it break out big time!

My worst sunburn story is from a few years ago. I was at the lake and didn’t wear any sunscreen. My forehead got so burned that it was literally black at the top. I now have what looks like freckles across the top but it’s really sun damage. 🙁 I will never go without sunblock again!

  16. Ashley says:

I love Mary Kay products! I never leave the house without sunscreen 😀

  17. Aubrey says:

My mom and I love mary kay products!!!

  19. Liz says:

I really need to start using sunscreen more! I have very fair skin and don’t treat it as well as I should. This would help!

  20. Sarah L says:

I just moved to CA from NY almost 3 months ago and man this Cali sun is STRONG! I also love the beach and love this place, but I have to be sure to always wear sunblock. Whether I’m going to the beach, to walk my dog, or for a jog, I have to be protected or I am BURNT! I’ve had so many burn stories… too many to count! I always think, just this one time I won’t get burned, and BAM! Burned. So please let me win this sunblock- I love new, great skincare for my sensitive skin!

  21. I love Mary Kay! Great review.

  22. Lynda says:

i never realized how important sunscreens are until my early 20’s. i need to catch up on my sunscreen-application!!

  23. Tiffany says:

I need sun protection because skin cancer unfortunately run in my family (my father has had 3 bouts and is currently being treated for melanoma). In addition to the fear of cancer, I know how important it is to protect my skin for the anti aging benefits – as I age I do not want to look decades older than I am

  24. gigi s says:

My worst sunburn was right before the end of school my junior year….I had big disgusting poppy blisters all over and it was one of the most painful experiences I had. I actually missed the last few days of school that year and somehow the rumor got started that I was horribly burned in a fire – you know how it goes – it starts out with ‘bad sunburn’ and then by the time it gets through everyone it somehow ends up ‘badly burned in a horrible fire’….so now I always wear spf – even in the winter.

  25. Ashley C says:

Sun cancer runs in my family. My mom just recently had it on her face so I try to be very careful about using sunscreen, especially now that we live in FLorida!

  26. Celeste says:

I live in Florida, and – well, it’s pretty much sunny 6 out of 7 days a week at least. I’m a kindergarten teacher, and I can get pretty tan just sitting out watching the kids on the playground! Sunscreen is a must.

  27. Dee says:

I am Irish, so I have fair skin that burns after being in the sun for 5 minutes. I’d love to give these products a whirl!

  28. Trisha says:

I had basil cell carcinoma at age 28 years old… sunscreen is so important!

  29. bianca roman says:

I can go from my car in the parking lot to my work and my face will be all red. It happens all the time – it’s like my face is the only thing that ‘burns’ or ‘reddens’ and it looks absolutely ridiculous :(((

  30. Alana says:

I need sun protection because I’m extremely pale and Scottish! A hint of sunshine through the clouds and I need to get the SPF out otherwise I go lobster!

My worst sunburn story is probably when I went to France for a PGL adventure holiday. We went kayaking and I forgot to apply sun cream throughout the day. Ended up with blisters on my thighs that ran the length of my thighs! They were huge and I was terrified as I’d never had a sunburn blister so I didn’t know what they were at first! Took months to clear up and I haven’t been on a kayak since!

It doesn’t say if this giveaway is international or not so I hope it is! 😉

  31. Mahdi Martin says:

I blistered up really badly as a child and I’ve learned never to go without sun protection again!

  32. Jen says:

Love the Mary Kay sun line!

  33. Lindsey says:

Ugh, I HATE sunburns! I always get them on my nose or shoulders. Then of course I’ll forget it’s there and do something stupid like sneeze and suddenly my FACE IS LIKE THE FIRE OF A THOUSAND SUNS.

  34. Valerie Theberge says:

I need sun protection because I’m extremely pale and Blonde!
