Styling With Remington Thermaluxe

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Remington®. The opinions and texts are all mine.

I have had the same hair routine for several years, so I was excited to switch things up using Remington Thermaluxe styling tools.

I was recently asked by Remington to create some unique tips for using a new product and I wanted to share with you, so I headed to Target to pick up the Thermaluxe™ Dryer and Thermaluxe Setter. I found them on the hair appliances aisle in the beauty department.  I have had the same hair routine for several years, so I was excited to switch things up with my hair routine. I typically wash my hair at night, let it air dry, and then flat iron- but I wanted to see what a difference a new blow dryer and some hot rollers could do for my hair.

If your hair is color treated like mine, or you need to use heat products regularly to tame your tresses, you’ll want to invest in both some thermal hair protectant spray and a hair dryer that effectively dries without frying your hair. The Thermaluxe Dryer even comes with a diffuser to dry hair faster with less heat damage.

The professional AC motor and hybrid concentrator are specifically designed to help reduce hot spots and deliver high, even heat for a smooth, shiny finish. One of my favorite features of the dryer was the fabric covered cord, so it doesn’t tangle. I tested the dryer several times, and even brought it with me on a trip, so the lack of tangles makes for a less frustrating experience when you need to blow dry your hair!

I’ve never used rollers, and wanted something that was just as quick as using a curling iron, but would be easier and less time consuming to use. After watching a quick YouTube tutorial, I was able to figure out the rollers, and with some practice they were quick and easy. If you get your rollers tight to the base of your head (so they aren’t clanging around!) you can easily do other tasks, like pack your lunch for the day or finish your makeup.

The Thermaluxe patented dual heating system heats the clips and rollers at the same time. During use, the roller heats the hair from the inside while the clips heat the hair from the outside for curls in 5 minutes. Cords were also thought through on this design, so you can easily store the cord at the base for easy storage.

So, how’d I do?  Before:

Rolled and read a book:

After 5 minutes- the rollers had cooled and my hair was set! Finish with some light hair spray (so you preserve the bounce without being crunchy.)

I would recommend that you put the rollers tight to the base of your head so you don’t feel like a chandelier, but luckily I wasn’t running around, so it wasn’t too complicated having rollers dangling low. And wa-bam- CURLS, and I didn’t have to be stuck in the bathroom with a curling iron. Easy peezy!
