Calling All Royals In Running Shoes! It’s Time For The Princess Half at Disney World!

I'm going to Disney World

It is with a humble heart that I write… “YES, I’m going to Disney World!”  by the time you read this, I’ll be on my way to the airport and hoppin’ a flight to Walt Disney World.  I’ve never been to Florida, and of course, Walt Disney World.  This will be my second runDisney half marathon weekend, and I’m beyond thrilled.

I’m also going to go ahead an apologize for all the excited tweets (and typos) and the ridiculous amount of Instagram posts to document my travels.  I haven’t seen my boyfriend since December, so we’ll be celebrating a belated Valentine’s Day at the parks.  I’ll do my best to keep the mushiness off the interwebs, well, at least in Insta-form.  😉  He’s a Walt Disney World expert, I’m a newbie, and this will be (thankfully) one of the last times we’ll be “dating on vacation,” since I’m moving back to Chicago next month.  Long distance no longer, huzzah!

I have to thank each of you for reading this blog, leaving me such great comments & answering my slew of tweets the last few weeks.  I had so many questions about running, packing for the parks, how to score deals and what to see/do that I finally feel prepared.  Crowdsourcing my Disney vacation via social media is by far, the best way to do it! You rock.

See you next week!  If you’re running the Princess, be sure to say hi on Twitter!

I went to Walt Disney World for the first time when I was 35. So I totally get your excitement. Good luck at the marathon. Also congrats at ending the long distance thing…I did it for 6 years and it sucks. Look forward to your updates!
