5 Minute Makeup in 5 Products or Less

May 29, 2011

So here’s what I recommend:

SPF 25 everyday to go on under your makeup! Don’t forget the back of your hands and your chest/neck area that has any sun exposure.

Mineral Powder Foundation: quick, easy and less messy for the amount of coverage it gives.

Two shades of eyeshadow:  Found in duos/quads that you can buy in one set….Light/white for eyelid and under your brow and midtone/brown or grey for the eye crease. Quick and looks fab!

Eyeliner in a dark brown: Especially if you’re going for a quick/natural look, avoid black. Go for a dark brown or taupe.

Mascara: Even if you have time for nothing else (except SPF 25 of course!), I always recommend mascara! Making your lashes pop (without caking it on too much if you’re not wearing any other products) will make you look awake and polished, even if you don’t feel that way!

What are your favorite products that you use to get ready in the morning? Do you have anything you can’t live without?

SPF 30 everyday on my face, for sure, is a MUST. I use a combo moisturizer with SPF.

Otherwise, I'm pretty lax, at least on a daily basis. Hair in a bun, zero makeup, flip-flops. If I'm going to do a quick swipe of makeup, I'll throw on some mascara and eyeliner, just as you said … I'm South Asian, so jet black liquid eyeliner fits my tone the best. Mostly, though, I'm an SPF gal.

  3. One more thing. I do believe that there are a lot of travel insurance sites of reliable companies that let you enter a trip details and acquire you the quotes. You can also purchase the actual international travel cover policy on the web by using your current credit card. All you have to do is usually to enter the travel particulars and you can be aware of the plans side-by-side. You only need to find the package that suits your allowance and needs and after that use your bank credit card to buy them. Travel insurance on the web is a good way to search for a respected company for international holiday insurance. Thanks for giving your ideas.

  4. I’ll immediately grab your rss as I can not find your email subscription link or newsletter service. Do you’ve any? Please let me know so that I could subscribe. Thanks.
